It was a great Læsø bus ride - VesterØL & Oinofilia

A tasting around Nordic gourmet servings and Greek wine does not have to be seated nor indoor... On Læsø Thursday, October 19, we boarded a bus and went exploring in the Danish Autumn lanscape.

1 bus, 1 bus driver / tourist guide, two chefs, 1 wine importer, 30 passengers, 8 stops en route, 1 seaweed entrepreneur, 1 bee specialist, 1 singing sculpturer, 6 local sourced gourmet snacks made on location paired with 6 Greek wines.

Rounding the day enjoying spicy-warming servings of a huge lobster paella sipping Xinomavro-powered Rosé...

1. Domaine Karanika, Brut Cuveé Rosé 2016 with Læsø oysters, fried lobster, lobster vinaigrette, pickled Læsø onion and herbs

2. Tetramythos Wines, Roditis 2016 with Toast, mussel compote, sweet celery cut and 3 different beach herbs from Stokken

3. Hatzidakis Winery, Aidani 2016 with Grilled mini cucumber, oyster cream, local smoked weever and light garlic cream
4. Tetramythos Wines, Roditis Orange Nature 2016 with Potato, seaweed, kantarel broth, scallop, walnut oil, cantaloupe compote with seaweed and onion
5. Gilali Wines, G Red 2015 with Mini-tartelet, forest duck and juniper berry sauce and black berry
