Review: Tatsis Winery, Old Roots 2011

This week we received a great email from wine blogger Jan-Christer Jansson, who had tasted & reviewed the Xinomavro-driven, Old Roots 2011 from Tatsis Winery on the blog JC:s Vintanker.

A little review extract (freely translated from SWE):
“(...) The taste is with good freshness and a big generous dark fruit: cherry, blackberries, some blueberries and a little bit of blackberry. Great and nice spice. Stony minerals. Good acidity. Distinct tannins that are well balanced by the dark fruit. The aftertaste is slightly longer than average, with delicious fruit as well as spiciness, but now also some cocoa, licorice, violets and roses. Despite the complexity, it is the dark fruit that is constantly in the center. A really good wine, which we take to our hearts.”
