The Muscat grapes for this white are picked in organic vineyards at an altitude of 800 metres in the mountains of Aigion. The vines have the advantage of the cold climate of the region and the winds from the ocean in the bay of Corinth.
The wine is fermented using only wild yeasts, found on the grapes. It has a nice light yellow colour and is characterized by its richness on the nose, with aromas of acacia honey, quince and grapefruit. There are also hints of minerals. It has a nice complexity and high acidity. Notes on the palate of buttermilk, lemon peel, a hint of rose, Turkish delight and honey, which dominate the long aftertaste.
We recommend Muscat Sec Blanc Nature for grilled or smoked fish, chicken, cheeses or fried and baked root vegetables.
The wine is always to be found far and wide and has been at Restaurant Naert, Nabo, Sårt, Buongiorno and Lola in Danmark and Bastard & Julie in Sverige, among many others.
